It is very easy to donate to OzHarvest Canberra. Every dollar you donate will deliver at least one meal to someone who is vulnerable or at risk in our local community.

OzHarvest Canberra has a very simple donation investment strategy. Every dollar donated allows us to rescue enough food to deliver a meal. A twenty dollar donation will enable us to rescue food for at least 20 meals. It is that simple!

With current food donation levels we are rescuing over well over 40,000 meals per month. This means your dollar will reach even further. We have recently been distributing over 60,000 meals a month (nearly 20,000 kilograms of food).

• $25,000 Donation will enable to OzHarvest Canberra to operate for a month and rescue food for over 40,000 meals.

• $20,000 Donation will enable us to rescue enough food for a women's refuge for an entire year, at least 20,000 meals.

• $5,500 Donation will enable OzHarvest Canberra to operate for a week and rescue food for over 10,000 meals.

• $500 Donation will enable us to rescue enough food for a school breakfast program for a month, at least 500 meals.

• $50 Donation will enable us to rescue food for a minimum of 70 meals, enough to supply a homeless meal program with hot food at each sitting.

• $10 Donation will enable us to rescue food for well over 10 meals


Your contribution directly allows charities to redirect funds originally budgeted for food to other programs which assist those who are disadvantaged in our community.

Your contribution will have a direct impact the planet by minimising good food and its packaging from going to landfill
